benefits of IV therapy

What is IV Therapy?

Exactly what is IV therapy? Intravenous therapy, or IV Therapy is a specific delivery method for fluids, nutrients, and medication that is administered directly through your veins. This allows the therapy to move rapidly through your bloodstream, delivering the fluid directly to your cells bypassing the need to be broken down and absorbed via your digestive tract, and giving you the full benefit of what you are receiving.

The most beneficial type of IV therapy that is recommended or prescribed, is decided upon by your practitioner based on symptoms and medical diagnosis. At the Integrative Wellness clinic, the nurses have decades of experience in IV therapy, so after your practitioner recommends a type of IV therapy, one of the nurses will discuss the procedure of insertion, the length of each session, and how many sessions you should have.  Before the IV is started what to expect to feel during and after will be discussed as well. Once your arm is cleaned and prepped, the IV catheter is placed, and the IV is running, you can sit back and relax, watch TV, listen to a podcast, play on your phone, work on your laptop, or nap.  We encourage the atmosphere to be calm, fun & healing for all our patients who come in as getting an IV can be a stressful event for most.

It’s best to speak to an IWC medical professional to ensure you’re getting the very best treatment, catered to your individual needs and symptoms.

What are the benefits to your health & wellness?

Motivated by helping your body heal and to maintain optimal wellness and stamina, there are a variety of IV therapies offered at the Integrated Wellness Clinic. The vitamins, minerals, and amino acids used in the Standard IV or the Immune Push have multiple body system benefits. Just to list the benefits of four out of more than ten of the ingredients used:

  • Vitamin C – Important for a healthy immune system function by encouraging your body to produce white blood cells which protect against infection; Improves iron absorption thus improving your energy and strength. Its ability to support your Adrenal function also improves stress management.
  • Zinc –  Reduces inflammation, supports the growth and normal functioning of immune cells, even a mild or moderate deficiency can slow down the activity of lymphocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages that protect the body from viruses and bacteria
  • Magnesium – Reduces inflammation, combating muscle tension & cramps that are common with chronic illness and fibromyalgia, and even can help prevent migraines.
  • Vitamin B – A deficiency of Vitamin B can reduce your body’s production of immune regulating white blood cells, so keeping your levels up is key to good health and your body’s ability to fight infection. It also helps with nerve function, lessening neuropathic pain, and other symptoms.

All of Integrated Wellness Clinic’s IVs are made and mixed right in the office allowing for the dosing to be adjusted to fit based on patient needs. The specialized ingredients we used are sourced from a state-of-the-art sterile compounding pharmacy that we have been working with for years to guarantee that what is being offered as a treatment option is the best.   The Standard IV and Immune Push are not the only two IVs you can receive; One to Ten Pass Ozone, the antioxidant Glutathione, Colloidal Silver, Iron, IVIg or Gamma Globulin and Antibiotics can all be ordered and administered in-office also.  Each of these options have starting doses, but also can be tailored to best meet your needs.

Over the decade we have been offering IV therapy we have seen amazing results for thousands of people. With so many factors that play into you choosing this as a recommended treatment, we would love to have a conversation with you about what your potential ‘amazing results’ experience could be.
